I've just started on The Reversal by Michael Connelly, got it from the Library today. Looks promising, it's a legal thriller in the style of John Grisham

Try "The Fry Chronicles" Stephen Fry's autobiography. Absolutely wonderful and extremely interesting.

Try "The Fry Chronicles" Stephen Fry's autobiography. Absolutely wonderful and extremely interesting. Yes, I agree with that, Milky, I've read it & he certainly has had an interesting life especially the bits where he became quite a prolific thief...who would have believed that looking at him now!? Have read some of his other books too, quite good.

If you like a good thick book which, to me, was riveting from beginning to end, its "The Bonfire of the Vanities" by Tom Wolfe. All the controversial stuff about bankers, city traders etc in the news today is featured in this book. Good thing about it is the fact that the story is told by vastly different characters who all link up in some way. Great read!

I'd recommend The Millennium Trilogy by the Swedish author, Stieg Larsen. Volume 1 - The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo probably the best of the 3 books but I was unable to put any of them down once I started reading them. Such a pity that the author died before he could complete book no,4.
