I wish these people (rebels & Gaddaffi forces) would not have this crazy way of shooting up in the air when excited, celebrating etc......its reported that that had something to do with them being attacked. However, a bad deal all round, especially as an ambulance, medical people were some of the victims. Unfortunately Jazz, it would appear that is exactly what occured.......... why the Arabs insist on "showing force" by loosing off rounds into the air is beyond me.......at the VERY least it's a stupid waste of what could be precious ammunition!!

Leazes I suspect it's because the rebels may well have the munitions of an army, however not the command structure nor more importantly the self discipline of a well trained force. CWL

TBH they look like Rag Tag and Bobtail!!!! They seem to be fighting out of cars and vans!!!! Saw Gadaffi's son on the telly, he's as nuts as his dad!!! He was trying to convince John Simpson that Mousa Cousa came to Britain for a Dr's appointment!!!

Another 13 today. Theres something I dont quite get here.If Gaddafis tanks are being targetted because of the risk to civilians then surely isnt the same risk posed by tanks used by rebel forces?I would have thought any tank firing could in all possibility injure or kill civilians The tank fired on today was apparently targetted because it was of the type used by Gaddafi forces.Arent most of them?Surely the tanks used by rebels will consist of tanks captured -where else would they come from? Nato claims it didnt realise this-utter twaddle again methinks. And I read that this one too was painted. But whats to stop Gaddafis men painting theirs

And now the talk is of the assassination of Gadaffi. Sorry but I was under the impression that this is illegal.I'm wondering just how long we are gonna get away with all of this given that there is already a minority of NATO countries involved in this action being taken. Youve got the likes of Mc Cain describing the rebels as "his heroes" whilst conveniently ignoring reports of summary executions by them pajamasmedia.com/blog/john-mccain-has-a-lot-to-answer-for-on-libya/I just feel that we are sailing bloody close to the edge on this one-particularly when at the same time we are issuing wedding invites to the Royals in Bahrain,Saudi etc-not forgetting the Ambassador for Zimbabwe-it all just looks so shady and hypocritical

So weeks down the line we are now sending in the helicopters. Im not understanding how we are justifying all of this -from protecting civilians from air attacks the goal posts seem to slowly and steadily being moved and no-one seems to be saying anything about it
