Only way it could have been better Broon was if the whole gang had been there!!!! I'll send you the book, Broon BTW. Countdown on One week today the Canny Broon Juggernaut rolls into Philadelphia Airport on its way to Blighty........... We will be wearing matching outfits and carrying large quantities of booze, craftily concealed in the nooks and crannies of our perfectly honed drinking bodies.............. Broon is already overdosing on expectations and childish exuberance to the extent that he has developed a New Jersey accent and premature mental orgasms(less messy than the real thing).............His case is packed already and he keeps asking....."Are we there yet" ...its fn annoying...... |

Aye, the countdown is ON.............Speaking of Philly, did a day trip there today and successfully navigated what surely is the most dangerous road here in America..............the Surekill River Crawl way. Indeed Philadelphia commuters pay the highest auto insurance rate in the country mostly because of this foul road. "Childish exuberance" is fair play but I'll take yer to task on any "Jersey" accent. The only thing Broon goes to jersey fer is to play cards in Atlantic City, (fancies himself as FCB) and to fish fer flounder in the summer. Other than that he avoids that state like the plague. The accent is that of the Bronx from his childhood days and only rears it's ugly heed after 5 er 6 pints. Broon now says tree instead 3 like everyone else from NE PA. Broon's been reading the online newspapers, Chronicle and Northern Echo to try and gauge the atmosphere in the City........would appear it's at a fever pitch with the past run of games and Arry's poor results. Did see an article I think in the Echo were an ex mackem said the football team and fans there were shite.........gotta kick out of that one. If the Mags can take some points from Wigan this weekend the Citeeh game will be massive...............HWTL |
