Best - decent backup and impact player.
Ba - out of shape and a presumed bad knee. A slightly better Shola by the looks of it.
Shola - slow, clumsy, slow, lazy and slow.
Løvenkrands - nowhere near as good as he was a few years ago.
Ranger - goal waster, troublemaker, criminal and a troublemaker.
Sammyobi - Pardew won't dare test him that much, looks like a keen Shola with more pace though.
Vuckic - is a midfielder, but a very promising one... can he stay clear of injuries?
Ben Arfa - is a midfielder and hasn't even played two full games for us yet. It will take a long time for him to get back into match tempo, will he fear every tackle now that he has suffered two very bad injuries? His psyche will be a questionmark I think.
I think a lot of unfair expectation is put on Hatem if everyone believes that he will carry the team from the first day that he comes back.
I say we need a top striker.
