Simple question for Magpie...............
Do you really believe ANY of our "current" strikers are worthy of the coveted "No. 9" shirt............ I don't!!

Back on topic, Best did really well with the great dane and we don't need any more strikers. A left back yes and by the looks if the Santon deal goes through (fingers crossed big time) then we'll have a fantastic addition to our squad. This explains it all.........Best with a Great Dane.......Fatman must have the pictures....think about it. Why else would Pardupe play him?

But I don't think the No 9 should be given out for the sake of us "having to have a" No 9. But I am saying we don't need to spend money on 10 million pound rated Turks who dont want to play for us in the first place. We can wait for the next window when there's a better deal. By the way think over this, Ben Arfa, £5M. Tiote, £4.3M. Cabaye, £4.3M. Davide Santon, £5M. All of them cost less than what Liverpool payed for Jordan Henderson!!!! Make what you want of it!!!!!

Still hate the fat bastard but way better than Freddy Shepherd and buying players we cant afford and living above our means. Yes, Best and the Great Dane. They are good strikers.

Good, reasoned reply to my question Magpie I don't think the No.9 shirt should be handed out to just anybody (hence the question) and I see no reason to hand it over "just because we have to have a No.9"...............No, it needs to be earned and can certainly wait a little while at least!! As for the money side of things, I agree, why pay daft money for players who really don't want to be here (Michael Bloody Owen for starters!!) and unfortunately as AP says "We cannot compete with the other BIG cclubs on transfer fees"! But surely Graham Carr has been watching some young, talented strikers that would cost around what we have been paying for players......4 to 6M?? Unlikely to happen now as at time of writing we only have 8 hrs of window left!!! We probably will have to wait until January now but would have preferred to have a new face now, to give them the full season to gel and fit into the squad. Regarding Jordan Henderson and KD's other acquisitions, all I can say is the man has more money than sense

Regarding Jordan Henderson and KD's other acquisitions, all I can say is the man has more money than sense A great reply Leazes... KD is obsessed with replicating the British Liverpool team of the 80s A bit of nostalgia there....But traitors like Carroll for 35 millions and Henderson for 16 millions isn't going to get him there...Well nice to see other clubs make a fool of themselves in the transfer market for once Nolan Roux was one apparently but he went to Schalke at the time of writing this (so I heard). I hope we get Zamora. Proven striker in the PL, helped guide Fulham to the Europa League, worked with Pardew before and "will" score goals. Failing to get a striker I won't be too worried as we have enough to see us through till Jan and then decisions can be made. Just because we have 35 million to spend doesn't mean we blow it all up on one window. I say we save for a rainy day

The Fat Controllers attempt to sign Useless fell through according to his agent as NUFC failed to meet the players personal demands. CWL

There is no truth in the rumour his brothers F*****g and B****y Useless were also approached by Lambsarse at the same time. However there is a strong rumour circulating that all four had to leave the toilet cubicle where negotiations were being held as they may have been arrested. FCB was not available for comment............. again! CWL

They are average but average is what fatman has made Newcastle. Medoricty is what you should expect. I have come to accept that. The sooner you accept it the better. That's why I knew no striker was coming in. Maybe I'm thinking too much like Ashley and co....but following this club and looking at the way these people work I know how they think. And by the way I don't think he'll leave any time soon. Worse thing is the bastard is removing the sign of the top....f*****g c**t
