When you go to bed-exhausted and ready for sleep-safe in the knowledge that no blinkin'alarms gonna wake you up,theres nothing urgent to do and you can sleep as long as you like-only to wake up a couple of hours later,glance at the time then feel happy knowing youve got hours left to sleep-except you cant bloody well get back to sleep

You try reading,with no success at all,give it another go but end up tossing and turning-then eventually think "oh sod it" and get up-and spend the entire day in some sort of haze of tiredness

Seriously though, I can be the same...takes me ages to get to sleep and the more you try the worse it gets. Not a problem when you haven't got to get up for work etc like me at the moment.

Aye, nothing worse than not being able to sleep - and the more you think about it, the worse it gets!!! I usually get up, have a tab and read a couple of chapters. Must say it hasn't happened much since I stopped working, no worries having to go in and face the miserable manager every soddin' morning!!!!

When you watch your cat from a window slinking over to a neighbour's newly prepared garden to do its "business" with all the cat's fastidious preparation, before and afterwards! (digging!) They always seem to take their time and choose a spot right in front of the neighbour's window!
No amount of you hissing "Come here, for God's sake!" will help.......cats will do what cat's do!

My dad doesnt like cats for just that reason Jazz.Years back he dabbled in growing leeks and showing them-cats were the bane of his life digging in the leek trench.

Not uncommon to see him go haring off down the garden with a bucket of water to try and discourage them.And I think a canny few pebbles were thrown as well

When you cant type a post properly cos the bloody keyboards working itself-spacebar keeps sticking and the A key keeps getting stuck too

Have you tried taking the keys off, and giving it a clean? The lass that did the admin in work did that!! It was funny, as she took them all off and had them lined up on the desk in their correct positions. I sort of strolled by and pretended to sweep then all off ;D I thought she was going to have a heart attack!!!
