I don't blame the player, but the management of the Club for allowing it to happen in this way. The Fat Controllers regime may well hit break even earlier than planned (if you believe this lot have a plan) but the Club may not be in the division it deserves to be by then. CWL |

Are you trying to tell me if someone head hunted you for another company, offering to triple your salary, possibly furthering your career in the process, you would say No!? That's without the organisation you currently work for receiving a handsome return as well. Ashley has got his pound of flesh from Andy Carroll and the player has also done well out of it. As always those left behind feel it the most and especially the supporters. Then again what choice have supporters got other than to walk away. Are you ready to do that? Andy Carroll supposedly text Newcastle fan and fanzine editor Steve Wraith to say, "I'm gutted to be leaving my home town club, i was told to go. I didn't want to leave that's why I signed a 5 year deal. I was pushed out of the door." Andy you also said you wanted to play for us forever and wear the No 9 for Newcastle earlier in the week! Grow up!

Know exactly how you, and everyone else, feels Magpie!! As I've said on another thread......"I don't believe for ONE second that Carroll handed in a transfer request" This has Ashley and Llambias written ALL over it I'm afraid. Why would Carroll put in a request, at the eleventh hour, when he had just recently signed a new FIVE YEAR contract doubling his wages?  ?  Think about it........ Ashley is now 1/3 of the way to clawing back his "loan" to the club in one fell swoop!!!!! HAS Carroll REALLY been carrying that thigh injury? I'm sorry but this just makes my hatred for the Fat Controller all the more intense    |
