Born in Durham..... Then Chester-le-Street.... Then The Toon.....(Wellington Street off Barrack Road)... Then Wallsend (Station Road).... Then back to Chester-le-Street..... Was never a Mod but had nice line in Levi stay press trousers, Ben Sherman shirts, Blazer, Crombie, Harrington jacket and DM's. Never went the whole hog with the hairstyle though.... Turned into a casual towards late seventies without ever realising what one was. Never fancied being a punk. Always smile when I hear Dire Straits Sultans of Swing and think back......this line in particular: And a crowd of young boys they're fooling around in the corner Drunk and dressed in their best brown baggies and their platform soles They don't give a damn about any trumpet playing band It ain't what they call rock and roll And the Sultans played Creole As for Quadrophenia some how just can't imagine Polly as Sting! Although did see The Who play it at The Odeon on Northumberland Street in 1973. WL

Does anyone remember Junco Partners? Great group at the time. Played often at Quay Club and Jesmond Banqueting Hall. I believe they're still playing albeit with a new line up.

Lived in a tiny place called Burseryd (around 800 inhabitants in the village itself) my entire life so far. Right now however I seem to be going between that place and southern Poland.
What else is there to tell? Not much really. Things were so much more different in your younger days than they were/are in mine.
