The difference is Polly I will not attempt to keep this thread at the top. I used to think it would be good just to have one thread but you have to move on, it is a changing landscape, yes we want Ashley to leave but we cannot do anything about it, there are too many fans who will still turn up no matter what. Look what the fat b@stard has done to the strip, look what he`s doing with the team spirit, look what he is doing to the players who want to finish their careers at the club, the guy does not give a sh*t about the players, the people of Newcastle, or its football club. The strip really is dreadful!! Saw a bloke with it on on Monday in Tescos, two measly stripes down the front, and plain on the back apart from a couple of small stripes on the bit that covers your bum!!! There was also a guy there with a "proper" strip on, what a difference!!!!! It's a disgrace!!

However, the Captain's right about the fans.........far too many of them will still be buying the pies, pints, chips etc (and the god awful new strips) thereby filling the fat t**t's pockets for the foreseeable future Well Leazes, I still haven't gone back since the Keegan affair. I spend my time and money on other things now. While I still watch them when on TV (guess I might stop Sky otherwise), I don't lose any sleep over them. I feel less hurt about not going than I did initially. Who knows, if he were to hang around for another 5 years or so before leaving, it might get to the stage where I don't get the urge to go back at all. The only live game I attended last season was Blyth v Gateshead. Really enjoyed it. |

When I read the stuff posted on the EC comments section it only makes me realise what a huge loss the NUFC forum actually was......... It is next to impossible to have a meaningful discussion about anything as posts are either removed or simply lost in among all the others as the number of comments increases. All that section provides is now a haven for depressed Mags or staunch pro Cashley advocates and a playground for every Mackem, Troll or Wum you care to give license to post garbage. The articles the comments are posted under is often secondary to what is being voiced by supporters. Not that I believe the Club or the Chronic for that matter takes one blind bit of notice.  CWL  |
