The outbreak of E-coli in Germany is very worrying-I have relatives there and of course Im concerned-but the usual madcap reporting is depressing. Killer Spanish cucumbers??? Sorry but I found that unbelievable from the start and that source has since been eliminated altho the public are panicking again and sales in this country have predictably decreased along with increased references references to German cucumbers Now tomatoes and leafy veg are in the frame Perhaps its the usual woeful tale of bad farming practice-a bit like feeding offal to cows and pumping the animals full of drugs along with intensive farming methods that turn my stomach

Isn't this f**king typical, I go on a strict diet, start eating lots of salad and veg and this happens.

i mentioned this at the last meet, not a normal case of E.coli it's mutated E.coli, i would bet my balls that this was mutated in a lab somewhere then let loose like many other things that just seem to appear from no where.

I was talking about this with my son, and he said the same as skint, about it being man made (apple doesn't fall far from the tree ) This is what I first thought as well, but after hearing how it's caught, it's not very efficient as a bio terrorist weapon!! I still reckon putting some nasty bug in reservoirs is a far better bet from the terrorist point of view!! More bang for your buck
