What? How can you not like cucumbers Lovely things. As a child waiting to disembark off a Ferry at Hoek van Holland it was stiflingly hot and I remember being desperately thirsty There were two Dutch kids in front of us eating fresh cubed cucumbers out of a plastic bag I swear I would have done anything at the time to be able to be doing the same

Shads it's not a question of dislike......................why on earth would I want to carry on eating something which makes me sick? Then again at times my wife asks that very same question when I return home following a Toon match and have been doing some serious training................... I just blame Leazes............ CWL

Funny thing is, tell people you don't like mushrooms and they say, but they're lovely!!!
When you repeat that you don't like them they come back with, but they don't taste of anything............. ;D ;D Where's the logic in that? ;D ;D

Fairsy if you ever die of food posioning no doubt someone will come out with the immortal line....................do you think it could have been the mushrooms! You can be surprised just what is put in some dishes. Often wonder why as with dishes containing nuts people are not told all ingredients. I would rather have the choice of not eating a dish because it contains something that I have an allergy or unwelcome reaction too rather than just not know and hope I'm okay. Nothing worse than feeling ill afterwards when there's no apparant reason for it only to find out later it did contain something best avoided. CWL

I'd take anything Ive gone out and foraged for over packaged food. Having heard some absolute horror stories about what goes into processed food care of people who have worked in the food processing centres-and Im not talking official ingredients here -when I pick my own at least I know theres a chance human debris isnt in it And as for tales about rude customers in restaurants-Mr Shads worked in a few when younger-lets just say Im always polite And mushrooms arent tasteless-if they are then you aint cooking them right Give me a plate of my Omas fried ceps and onions anyday-flippin beautiful PS-Oma is a German nanna
