I dont follow that Milky... its probably because im tired (had a canny drink at lunch time) But surly European car of the year is based on popularity IE sales of which there have been none. As for as im aware the only place outside japan to have these cars is here in the UK so how come European car of the year

i think the new electric car may have been voted European car of the year because everyone coming over are already sold, or maybe it's an award the car people have gave it based on things like price, economy, special features etc.

Your more then likely right about it being awarded by car people to car people....A bit of back slapping eh ;D

i would expect these to be cheap to maintain, they wont need cam belt changes, or spark plugs etc, ok the range may not be far but if you travel around 50 miles a day then they are ideal, plus free road tax so after about 10 years the money you would have saved on fuel, repairs, tax etc would pay for the car, id expect them to get cheaper in time and the range to improve.

No I wouldn't, not unless they make them to go considerably further without a charge, and I can plug them into the socket in the hall ;D I mean, it said an 80% charge will take 20 mins, what happens if there are one or two waiting at the socket??? You'd be there all day!!!
