I thought this might be an unusual subject & if it takes off may be of use to a physcologist (you know what I mean!). If you can remember your dreams which most of the time I can't (unless I write them down as soon as I wake) it would be interesting for us all to read. I've written down four of my dreams. The latest one from this morning is this:- It started with me parked tightly up against a wall so I had to get out on the passenger side. It was one of my old cars from years ago, an MGB GT. On getting out I was in a London street, somewhere like Mayfair....posh old houses, suddenly my best friend popped out one of the doors looking surprised! Next I was on a very narrow sandy beach, talking to a friendly young couple with a small child (about 3). There was a concrete vertical wall behind us. The sea was absolutely ferocious, grey, & seemed to be very quickly moving parallel to the beach which as I mentioned was very narrow. I was very scared & yet this couple were very relaxed & not bothered about their young child. This child suddenly started cutting the father's hair which was a strong ginger colour....she was cutting great chunks out of it & he didn't seem to mind, laughing all the time! The woman, also ginger passed me some sort of food in a "pizza box" with three spring onions underneath the box! She looked at me as if to say "How is he going to deal with the spring onions?" I decisively bit the ends off them, ate them straight away which seemed to satisfy her. Suddenly my mate's brother who I haven't seen in years appeared across the sand with a sponge cake on a tray! End of dream......what the hell is all that about?!!!

I sorry to say this... but you're crazy, mad and a lunatic. That's my professional opinion.

Yes it was unusual. Whether a physcologist will find it interesting or make head nor tail of it is a very good question as I have no idea what one is or what they actually do! Oh! and my psychoanalyst says it's all your fault anyway and strongly suggests in future you stay off the Haggis err! Whiskey...........before bedtime. CWL

Jazz - this is very interesting!!
Maybe you should look into the meaning of dreams.
I used to have dreams about water (I know someone is going to say I needed the bathroom) - but the dreams were always about crossing the river (Tyne) and they were terrifying.

End of dream......what the hell is all that about?!!! Thanks for all your comments.....no alcohol involved or cheese or haggis! I have 3 more that I wrote down some time ago which I'll put on here shortly. The funny thing to me is how is it that you forget dreams so quickly when they are so vivid when you are having them? Its supposed to be somehow clearing you're mind...like deleting files from a computer isn't it...something like that, I think. I can't remember dreams often but I intend to keep a record of them from now on. Keep a pen & paper by your bed everyone....lets hear them....might be able to make a musical out of them...ha, ha, ha! ;D

A mental De-frag now there's a thought! CWL Well isn't that what dreams are? The brain goes through thoughts, feeling and memories and sorts them out and put them elsewhere.

A mental De-frag now there's a thought! CWL Well isn't that what dreams are? The brain goes through thoughts, feeling and memories and sorts them out and put them elsewhere. Not entirely sure to be honest....................although possibly at a subconscious level when both mind and body are attempting to rest. Also involves peoples imagination, however again not sure in what capacity other than for perhaps setting the scene. I gather everyone dreams in some shape or form, however according to my wife I sleep so soundly it's almost like I am dead. I certainly have sympathy for those who cannot sleep well during the night or any other time for that matter. Guess I'm lucky in that if I need to rest I can do it, even just for 10 or 15 minutes, then feel refreshed. Doesn't seem to matter where I am either, well other than when I'm driving of course! CWL
