I had some Cheddar last night and dreamed of Somerset.  OK I'll get my coat. Ha, ha, ha! ;D Believe it or not, Milky, I did have another dream last night, on waking up, half unconscious as I was, I went over & over it in my mind. Then scribbled it down when I was fully awake. Mind, I can understand how most people can not do this, even if they wanted to. I have the luxury of not having to do anything on awaking. Most people are intent on getting the kids to school, off to work, intent on breakfast or whatever. I'll write the dream on here later. My Mother used to dream every night & she would entertain us all in the morning over breakfast with her bizarre stories. We often used to be in stitches before going to work/school etc! ;D |

roma, most of the time I can't remember mine but sometimes just before I wake I have these dreams which I somehow realise are dreams & can think to myself "I'll have to remember this & write it down as soon as I get up" Otherwise they are lost....they seem to just vanish from your mind in no time. Like I mentioned earlier I had one this morning & had to really concentrate on it before scribbling it down. They are just so strange some of them....some not so much & you can sometimes know where they came from.....the half crown in my last dream was because I had been discussing the old coinage a few days ago (will write that one down after this). |

Yet another dream out of the blue! I was in a South American type country trekking through a mountain pass. There was a couple in the far distance ahead of me and gradually, slowly, I caught up with them. The man, a "student" type was shouting every so often....a kind of yodel. When I was right behind them I shouted with him. He turned around and was very friendly, as was his partner. Soon we came to our (their) destination.....up a ladder we went to a large South American type family, ponchos, colourful clothing etc....like Peruvians I would say. They were obviously the couple's relatives and they all trooped off to look at the couple's baby which I hadn't noticed before. Soon I was involved in some sort of gambolling game with the patriarch, father figure of the family. Suddenly in the middle of the game, he pulled the white tablecloth round so my "hand" was his and his, mine. Much laughter from everyone! Next thing I knew I was on a small mini bus, feeling conspicuous and asking for a fare to "The Blue Ball", a pub in North Devon besides which I used to work. I gave the driver, a woman, a half crown saying "You don't see many of these now, do you?" End of dream.  |

I used to be able to dream football results and see them actually happen the next day. Doesn't happen that much these days.
