Isn't it generally accepted that powernapping recharges the batteries as effectively, if not more than a deep sleep ?

Here is another one of my dreams written down sometime ago:- I was discussing Joey Barton, the Newcastle Utd. footballer who had been injured and was due back to start playing again. My discussion was with Chris Hughton, the manager and other Newcastle Utd. staff. It seemed that we had somehow invented a system where computers were involved and I mentioned that 500 megabytes had dramatically improved his performance. I thought to myself "Thats all very well but how are we going to stop other bigger and richer clubs finding out about this? Manchester Utd., Chelsea etc will be able to invest in hundreds of gigabytes for their players!". End of dream. I know most of our posters will be thinking I have "FIFA", "Championship Manager" computer games but I haven't.....so that wasn't on my mind. Otherwise its a straightforward type of dream involving the ever present anxiety about the "Toon" which just about everybody on this forum shares! ;D

The way some of them play sometimes, it would take more than a 500 megabyte charge up the jacksie to get them going!!!!! ;D Dreams are funny things, I can't remember mine half the time!!! Like shads, if I started writing them down at the time, it would be tab, cup of coffee and the end of sleep for the night!!!!!

My third dream.....only one more to go unless I start going into overdrive in the "dreamworld"! Again, some time ago & I wrote it down:- I was on an old fashioned type of train with my Mother. There were two elderly ladies sitting opposite us. The train was shaking from side to side causing us to comment about it but we weren't unduly concerned. Suddenly the train jerked to a stop in the middle of typical English countryside. Everyone was told we had to get on the next train to Bath (My Aunt lives there by the way). We evacuated the train and found we had to negotiate a short but vertical iron ladder which ended on a very steep and muddy slope. I thought "the old ladies are going to find this difficult". Anyway the next thing I knew we were on level ground....I turned round and the two ladies had turned into geese complete with their own clothes....like in a child's story book! End of dream. Weird or what!

Maybe a little less of the hard stuff before bed might be an idea (only joking, in case you think he's a raving alcoholic!!! )

I don't know how true it is, but someone told me last night Ashley lost just over a million ponds last week in a casino! If it is true you'll be paying more for your tickets next season.

Fourth & final dream (for now!):- A short one this.....a dreamlet if you like or a dream bite (or byte)! Again written down some time ago. Found myself walking through a university quadrangle type of place (an old uni..Oxbridge, Durham). I was chatting merrily away to the other students. We were on our way to a major, crucial exam in something like physics, higher maths, that sort of thing. In my mind I knew I hadn't a clue about physics, maths etc & how had I got myself into this position! Nevertheless I continued on, wondering all the time what I was going to do! End of dream. A typical anxiety sort of dream that one, I think! No more for now....I'm off to eat some cheese to see if I can encourage my "dream centre" to start producing! Groans all round!!
