Not late at all Magpie I'll tell you whats really struck me since starting this up-although the have Your Say and NUFC sections rarely mixed on the EC boards its been a real pleasure to see the two sections pulling together and getting to know each other on here. I dont tend to pop into the footies section as wanted it to stay yours and my knowledge and interest in football is ziltch- -but I can see why Ann often recommended we pop in. Just seeing the welcomes given to new members on here is amazing and altho Im sure we wont all be agreeing on here all of the time its a really great start.

Well-we are still waiting to hear about this transfer to the Freeman Apparently its possible she might not be accepted as stents are usually used on arteries of 3mm diameter and my mams are about 2.5 according to the doctor. Her diabetes is also an added complication-weve been told a decision will be made later this afternoon so heres hoping. In all honesty I just want whats best for my mam and I guess the experts at the Freeman will decide whats for the best

Your mother sounds a little more stable, hope she'll be OK. I bet she's fed up in there, I'm terrible I want to go home before I get there. Chin up you know there's lots of people behind you including me. If you are ever stuck for transport to visit her, you know my number. It'll be my pleasure.

Thanks Milkhope Yes-thankfully she is alot more stable.I think the fact that her diabetes seems to better controlled now is having a significant affect on her health. She's well fed up-and dont we all know it lol.My poor dad looks visibly shaken sometimes when he gets back home I'm the same as you-faster I'm out the better

Aye, if your ever stuck, don't hesitate to give us a ring. Being fed up is a good sign!!!! I must admit I've never been to the hossie as an adult, apart from when I had the kids, but I think I'd be fed up as well, especially if I didn't feel too bad
