The best thing about this thread is that there's been no worsening developments. I assume your mother's stable and on the road to recovery. It may be a long road, but still the right one. Hope your holding up.

Thanks milkhope and Bansh. Things are still a bit uncertain right now-there was another scare yesterday when we believe she may have had another more minor heart attack. The doctors decided to shock her heart as it was erratic and that seems to have helped. I visited last night and she seemed alot better but we've been told that shes not out of the woods yet by a long chalk. However it was good to see her a bit more herself last night. Its all very stressful right now-but coming on here does take my mind off things for a while

CWL-thank you too.
Because of the nature of my husbands work Im often here alone with the kids and obviously I dont want to worry them unduly.
The thoughts and wishes of you all helps bolster me up and helps more than you can imagine.

Sorry Ive not been around as much today and yesterday as I had hoped to be.
My mam was having various tests and obviously I had to support my family.
She is possibly being transferred to the Freeman in the next couple of days for a procedure to help open some narrowed arteries-fingers crossed the Freeman accepts her as I think after talking to the consultant that this will help her greatly.

That good new shads I'm really pleased for you and your mother. You know you can count on my support, as I have been able to count on your. Going through some dark low times at the moment reality is kicking in, but that's only to be expected. The doctor has fast tracked me for a councillor should be 2/3 weeks instead of 4 mouths. I really think that will be of benefit. I don't know your mother but send her my best. I can see the Freeman from the window so she can give me a wave.
