Yes it's been reported on Sly Sports news as well....................... I also heard Johan Elmander is likely to leave Bolton as they are unable to agree a new contract with him. Newcastle have been rumoured to be signing him on a pre-contract agreement with the longer term permanent deal likely to be finalised during the Summer. Where on earth does this leave Ashley's  buy them young, groom them a bit then flog them to the highest bidder strategy? So much for the Arsenal model...............more like the rshole comodel. We all thought Best wouldn't cut it at NUFC. A hat-trick and 4 goals later coupled with the departure of Carroll and injury to Shola and Bestie is the leading frontman of the toon. How quickly things and opinions can change. Still think Kuqi is beyond it and it's a desparate move by Pards to get a fit striker in just to make up the numbers and to be able to put someone on the bench. I hope Kuqi is like a Pancrate signing who'll come and help out the team for a short period of time and then willingly depart. By the way if you remember Pancrate scored a stunning goal at home to Watford  (just saying....  ) |
