Thought it would be a good idea to have a Transfers and Rumours thread as it always provides a good bit of discussion. Mind you with our current owner we may be discussing more rumours than actual transfers.  |

I was going to put one up soon myself.
I think ee should go in for Adam Lallana. Pardew can get him with his old Southampton connections even though he didn't have a happy time there.
By the way Pardew his turning his attention to strengthening the midfield after seeing Shola and Bestie hit form.

Magpie I have some ideas for a couple of others which could be long term threads and hopefully will become stickys. Pardue may well bring a couple of lads from Southampton but not sure if it will be in this window. Surprised he is looking at midfield as we now have Danny Gosling back with the first team. I would still like a left back although pleased we didn't get Bridge having seen his performance for the Hammers. |

I think he's looking to offload Routledge with Wigan QPR and Cardiff interested in Wayne. I'm glad Bridge didn't come here. he lacked match fitness and match sharpness. Tell you of another good lad at Southampton - Alex Chamberlain. Of course my source is football league show and youtube but he looks a good prospect at 17. I can see your concerns at LB. I agree we need one especially since Kadar is gone on loan to Huddersfield. |

He'll do enough to keep us up. Besides Pardew is Llambias's friend which means he is Ashley's friend. So I reckon fatty might loosen the purse strings a bit. But just enough to keep us up. He has no ambition. As long as we are safe from relegation fatty is happy to milk the revenues from the club and pocket the cash. That's his business model  |

I've heard rumours that Spurs want Andy Carroll for £30 mill I think it was!!!!  That will be very tempting to Fat Ash, but what would happen if he doesn't want to go? Can they force him?
