I've heard rumours that Spurs want Andy Carroll for £30 mill I think it was!!!! That will be very tempting to Fat Ash, but what would happen if he doesn't want to go? Can they force him? NO.

They could however make life so unbearable for the lad that he decides he wants away but that would be unethical. Mike Ashley would never be unethical, now would he?

Fulham and TOON in for Wright-Phillips. HP. agent. Read quite a few articles about us being linked with SWP yesterday. Would take him on loan until end of season with view to permanent deal in Summer. Fulham are probably favourites to sign him now though for about £4m as Hughes had him when at Citeh.

There's a very strong rumour that a loan deal with Stephan Ireland ,is done and dusted. Not aware of any deal done so far for Ireland although Villa are looking to claw some money back after getting Bent. Thing is Ireland is valued at around £11m and IMO there's no way The Fat Controller is going to go for that nevermind his high wage demands. Loan deal is probably the best we can hope for although I'm still not convinced he should come here. Mauro Camoranesi and Shaun-Wright Phillips have also been put forward to Newcastle as possible acquisitions Read more: www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/853322-stephen-ireland-eyed-as-cover-for-alan-smith-at-newcastle#ixzz1BfyMiON4CWL.
