I don't know about that broon. But i do remember as a boy on a saturday going down to the market and getting a bag of black winkles to eat with a pin. so what's that says about Lezy i don't know, black gold comes to mind.  ;D |

Nah Broon, they're called winkles!! Must admit they do look like snails........... As kids we used to call them "snots (boogers) with crash helmets on"  To eat, you stick a pin in and then pull out the "fleshy" inner bit!! Couldn't stand them mesel' but a lot of people say they are a delicacy........... |
