I was going to name the thread "hung out to dry" but decided to go with the title as is. Tiote is now in the shop window, he has served Ashley`s purpose to a tee, bought cheap, sell at a vast profit. Pardew is now being used as a salesman pushing him out. Forget about the club, the team, the supporters!! Its all down to the fat man and greed.   ATB |

So what's new? Under Mikey's regime the whole squad is simply products to be sold. Should a buyer match or exceed the value placed upon the player it's thankyou and goodbye. Kerching! Next! As for APee being a salesman well I disagree as whether he likes it or not players put themselves in the shop window with their performances. You can almost see the zero's being added to Krul's value each week. Not a lot supporters can do other than see it out until the FCB finally leaves. CWL  |

If we post nothing this forum will die. I look at it every day virtually nothing is being posted I am concerned that if it carries on like its doing it will go belly up.   ATB |

ATB Captain Marvel I very rarely post on the footie threads, but after reading your post I feel I have to. CW has done his very best to keep the footie threads/ general sport threads going for the interest of it's members. He's the only member of staff that has done this. It looks easy to you members, but to keep it going it's up to the members to try and set threads up as well as keeping them going. Give credit where it's due Captain if it was'nt for CW these threads would'nt be here, he's done a damned good job of it if you ask me. CW has also been concerned, you have to appreciate that's why he's being doing it. |

Please enlighten me why you have posted this reply?
Have I said anything that contrevenes any rules?
Have I done anything that contrevenes any rules?
When a moderator replies to a poster in a negative fashion is it different to any poster replying that way? If it is why?
Surely if the forum needs posts and new threads which this one does they should be encouraged and not discouraged?
What is the sentence in red supposed to signify? Is it a threat?
I have every respect for CWL do not suggest otherwise, having met him he is quite an aimiable chap and very able to look after himself.

Firstly to point out that if it is thought that if you think it's going belly up as you put it. Is to try as members to start new threads and to keep them going by posting, it is up to the members to keep these going.
The sentance is mainly to point out to all of you just how much CW has done. I hope this explains it better for you.

I hope this explains it better for you. I am very aware how much CWL has done not just on here but on a few other forums as well, and that is not including the old Chronicle forum. Where I think it can be difficult is when you are both a poster and a moderator. I have seen on other forums where the moderators sometimes abuse their position that is not the case here.  ATB |

Capt'n M of course members are encouraged to create threads and post in them, however Mods are unable to force people to do so. Just trying my best to keep stuff flowing on this forum, providing as much information as I can about The Toon and Football in general. I'm not going to get in a war of words with you. If my efforts are regarded as not good enough then I guess you will have to live with it because it's all I can offer, unless you fancy taking on the task yourself. CWL  |

Capt'n M probably my frustration coming through as this Forum is as good if not better than many others I post on. Yet doesn't have the membership to make it great as it so easily could. Without new blood it will continue to struggle. After all there's only so much those who do post here can write about the waste of space we call the Owner of NUFC without eventually repeating themselves. CWL |
