Capt'n M probably my frustration coming through as this Forum is as good if not better than many others I post on. Yet doesn't have the membership to make it great as it so easily could. Without new blood it will continue to struggle. After all there's only so much those who do post here can write about the waste of space we call the Owner of NUFC without eventually repeating themselves. CWL  Life is too short to concern yourself over squabbles, hopefully the membership does increase, personally I do not care whether people repeat themselves, it all counts in my book. I was hoping that the teams good start would bring somone out of the woodwork who was interested in buying Ashley out although I also believe he will take some budging. Anyway, looking forward to your match report and hope we win 4-3! ;D  ATB |

Don't really know where to post this comment but it is slightly relevant to earlier statements on this thread.
One thing I don't wholly understand is how the Ghost of Capt Kidd's forum which has been up and running less than half the time Renegades has been in existence can have over 160 members. It is a decent forum but like any other is dominated by 5 or 6 strongly opinionated bloggers. Nothing wrong with that and compliments in a way this forum where the few who contributed are in no way longwinded. Only CWL's match reports which, by the way are excellent crave any deal of time to read and digest.
i have my own ideas as to why many have been here to test the waters only to move on but see no point in airing them here and now.
Long may renegades continue to exist and bravo to the mods (are they really here?) continue to allow us the freedom to express ourselves.
Looking forward to meeting some of you on Wednesday.

If we post nothing this forum will die. I look at it every day virtually nothing is being posted I am concerned that if it carries on like its doing it will go belly up.  ATB Captain Marvel I very rarely post on the footie threads, but after reading your post I feel I have to. CW has done his very best to keep the footie threads/ general sport threads going for the interest of it's members. He's the only member of staff that has done this. It looks easy to you members, but to keep it going it's up to the members to try and set threads up as well as keeping them going. Give credit where it's due Captain if it was'nt for CW these threads would'nt be here, he's done a damned good job of it if you ask me. CW has also been concerned, you have to appreciate that's why he's being doing it. I dont really want to get into a male contest to see who can pizz the highest up the wall, but the reality is that without CWL's input this NUFC forum would be dead. He deserves credit for single-handedly carry this thing for as long as Ive been on here. This takes up his personal time which he gives freely to us, and as an expat I find it invaluable. I and all other posters are guilty of not contributing as much as we should, and also encouraging new posters. I have managed to get one poster on to here......how many have you guys? I POSTED THIS IN GREEN TO BE ECOLOGICALLY CORRECT. We shouldnt piss moan and poke at each other... use that energy to make the board better. |

TBH Fairs, I would welcome reasons why you think people are not joining. If we are doing something wrong or could do it differently, I'd like to know peoples' opinions. We really need some new members, so all suggestions welcome
