Spent a bit of time listening to Talk Sport (aka Sh**e) today and just wondered had anyone else been listening recently? If you have you will know exactly where I'm coming from with what I write next. Namely according to this celebrated football authority and the pundits who are employed there Newcastle United are in a false position in the Premier League. The basis for this startling revelation being the so called fact we have not played anyone of note so far in this campaign. Now it's about here that if I was a supporter of The Gooners I would be spitting blood and chucking my DBA radio across the room! Have Arsenal suddenly fallen so far off the Premier League map that they are no longer considered to be a quality side or indeed title contenders in their own right? For no other reason than to simply confound those so call experts on the game I hope our unbeaten run continues. Thereby keeping whoever else they believe is deserving of fourth further down the table. Certainly don't think it will included any of the current top three never mind us doing the unthinkable by actually beating any of them during November or December. As you may have also guessed to preserve both my blood pressure and sanity I will no longer be tuning in to Talk Sh**e.............Ba****ds! CWL  My take on this is if fat boy had laid out some lol on a striker and a left back it would have put some meat on the bones which would have strengthened the squad and boosted our chances of staying where we are!!     ATB All well and good Capt M, however I honestly believe it's the fact that hasn't happened which pi**es off these so called pundits and gobsh**es on Talk Sport! CWL  |

I don't believe it's all down to Luck! So now The Toon have become a lucky side....................... struggle to believe that as not a lot of it been about for 40 odd years that I can remember. Our defence is playing out of it's skin and why should we worry about other teams lack of a goalscorer? We have enough of a problem in that department ourselves. Really did wonder on his display last night what all the fuss was about Bothroyd a while back that got him called up into the England squad. Also as good as Wright Phillips looked last night I still think he will play in fits and starts for QPR. He was up against a makeshift, right footed, part time midfielder, come left back and still didn't manage to find the back of the net. Our lack of a goal scorer will come back to haunt us and we need to get that left back spot sorted. Just about everything came down that righthand side............ That said I'll take Eight points in the bag and lets hope we can grind out a few more away from home again this Saturday against The Villa. CWL  When I spoke of luck!,I was refering to one game, v QPR,and that's exactly what we weree, LUCKY.. |
