Hey- Even doom mongers are entitled to and capable of a little lightheartedness at times. Hence the smiley at the end of my prediction. I would be disappointed if that should be the outcome of the draw because I feel the League Cup is probably where our hope for success may lie this season. Good that goals are coming from all over the park (team).   Could not resist a bit of fishing..................  and yes I did notice the smiley! Fairsy got to test the waters now and again to get your real feelings out in the open.................. can't believe it's all doom laden!  CWL  |

It's looking very much like APee will be forced into making changes for The Toon's trip to Ewood Park to face Blackburn tomorrow night. According to the Official NUFC web site both Tiote and Saylor will be out with a knee and a broken nose injury respectively received during the Wigan game. www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20111025/tiote-out-of-cup-tie_2281670_2493242Stroller is also out with Hamstring trouble for up to six weeks and joins fellow long term injury victim Mike Williamson already expected to be missing for a further four to five weeks. Stroller may not be missed that much up front and the side probably has cover for Mr T but our centre back pairing is a cause for concern. Perch being the likely man to replace Saylor. There could also be more changes in the entire back four and with the Keeper as well. With Elliott coming in for Krul, while Santon and Fergie could get the nod before Danny and Raylor. Cabaye could be moved into the defensive midfield role allowing Marvelous to slot into the central midfield position. Up front I expect it to be two from the killer B's of Ba, Best and Ben Arfa. Jonas and Gabbi to retain their positions. I only hope it's not a case of too many changes upsetting the balance and understanding among the players. Quite who makes the bench should also be interesting as the depth of our squad is going to be fully tested. Anyone else got a view on what team APee may select. CWL |

APee had better do his magic come half time and boot a few backsides.................The away support amazing...............they deserve a lot more than what we have seen this half. HWTL...........
