We spent literally hours at the hospital yesterday then had to drive to Newcastle to go to the bank-canny little market on there at the moment-we had a hog roast bun each-and yes the whole pig was there -then had some stuff to sort out at home-I was shattered-Mr Shads had to wake me and the youngest up after we fell asleep together on the settee Not as busy today thank god but Ive a meeting at the school later then we need to get ready for tomorrow-trip to Flamingoland with the Grafters club-its a support group for kids with burns and their families-so looking forward to that glad to hear mr shadow is okay.

this forum seems very quiet at the moment, i been thinking and dont know if anyone agrees but i think part of the problem is too may categories, now and again a good topic comes up but gets removed to a category like arts or films etc, just my thoughts i think the categories need stripped down a bit as it may be putting of new posters.

This is my first post and I joined because the forum is "local" I have to agree that some of the categories could be dropped in favour of "have your say" I also think there is a definite lack of "debate" on subjects. It's almost as though posters are frightened to speak their mind. Just my opinion.

If you look back there's been some good debates on here HH, and I can assure you none of our members are frightened to speak their minds, however your comments have been noted.

Hi Skint- I would have to agree. I also find the lots of categories confusing. I stick to the "have your say", and am happy in that category. I think it is good to have a separate music section, but even that has many categories and is a bit confusing. I also think spreading out the comments over many sections tends to look like there are are not as many posters as there actually is. There are sections on here that I have never gone in to. I personally would find it less confusing if there was a small number of main categories i.e Have your say; Sport; music. Just my personal opinion people. Sorry.

What I find confusing for me (its due to my dementure) I can never remember which catagory I have been following, would it be possible to link to a catagory and have an email reminder when someone adds to it? I do look at all the catogories but not in a scientific way i.e i just pick one with my cursor, I am sure I could pick a losing horse just as easy Regards. Geordie
