I admit that whilst I am not convinced that you are the right manager for my beloved football club I will admit that you and "your" team did a decent job against Wolves yesterday.
I would now ask that since you were so keen to inform us that you have "Mike's" ear that you at the first possible occasion not only whisper but scream in the said ear that he must sort out long terms contracts for Messers Barton and Colloccini.
Yet another game where with Barton dominating midfield Newcastle play well.
Cut out the bullsh*tting Pardew and prove to us that there is some truth in what you say rather than smoke and mirrors.

Although I thought Hughton was fortunate to be appointed as Newcastle Manager he did eventually win my respect through his actions. Okay he didn't get it right all the time, however he did try his best and always acted in a professional manner even if it meant he looked like Mikeys  lap dog  at times. The number of Newcastle fans who couldn't wait to be rid of him was high although personally I always thought it was just a matter of time no matter what the bloke did. His departure did shock a lot of fans who like me during the promotion season began to see him in a different light. Still learning and by no means a great manager, but making a decent fist of the job. Pardew being brought in on the back of The Fat Controllers lamentable and disgraceful handling of Hughton always meant he was on a hiding to nothing with the fans. That said he has not exactly been given much help from his so called pal and boss! From day one he has just had to get on with it often being made to look a complete prat by our most benevolent owner. Pardew would not have been my choice to replace Chris Hughton, however he is here so like it or not I have to live with it. At least his arrival was not greeted with as much total disbelief from me as that of Sourmess.................now there was a disaster waiting to happen! If I could give Pardew one piece of advice it would simply be don't treat the fans like morons, even if some of them are............. We don't need platitudes, sound bites, told to get behind the team, or the dozen other cliched remarks which can be found in the football managers handbook. Simply tell it as it is..................you will earn respect for doing so. I will ultimately decide about Pardew following confirmation we are staying up, with a pre season under his belt, signings which he has sanctioned (there's a challenge) and a full season in charge should he last that long under this owner! Until then he is just like Hughton a soft target for when it goes wrong................ CWL  |

Fairsy that is something I also strongly suspect as it was on occasions with CH. Only when Hughton finally got fed up with it and pushed for things he wanted like a new assistant did I start to think his days were really numbered. Pardew may well go the same way.............five year contract or no five year contract! CWL  |
