Erm. Duh. I've admitted it on numerous occasions. Well then shut it and dont get on his case every single week. An interesting response from our feathered friend when I admitted to not liking Pardew. ;D To the observant among us, you will notice that this was in April last year. As I've stated previously I am always prepared to give credit where credit is due and i am now willing to admit that whilst he still plays the owners banjo the man produces the goods with very limited resources.

Fairsy I'm staggered you even bothered to look for such evidence to support the 180 degree turnabout from our young feathered forum member. What confuses me is I could understand it if The Toon were fighting to avoid relegation and the football was all rubbish, but it's not in my view. Even after witnessing one of the best goals scored in ages at St James Park on Sunday he brushed it off as a one off fluke! Which just makes me think the love affair with The Toon has finally worn off and nothing will please him. As you say APee and his players are making a decent fist of things and possibly exceeding most if not all (there will always be exceptions) supporters expectations. I can put up with Magpies opinions, but he doesn't appear to me to be offering any alternatives in his posts other than the side should be attacking more. No way is APee going to turn all of his players from sows ears into gold pigs, but it's his job to get the best out of what he has however limited that may be. Even his fellow Managers are saying he is doing that so what is Magpies beef with the guy? Everyone has an opinion over players they like or would want at the Club and who should be selected. It's one of the key things we love about the game. However it's the Manager's job to get it right not ours and so far whether Magpie likes it or not APee is getting it more correct than he is getting it wrong. Perhaps if he can tell us who should replace APee, what difference it would make under our most benevolent owner and what his team selection would be we may get a decent debate going..................but I doubt that will happen! All we are reading at the moment is get rid................no matter what the Manager does! CWL

All we are reading at the moment is get rid................no matter what the Manager does! CWL I didn't have to spend any time looking CWL - I have a Word document full of examples. Plenty more where that came from. It's not unlike yourself bothering to discuss anything at all with the lad where most reasonable arguments go unadressed. My intention here was to point out that I had made a mistake(albeit a seldom one ) in the hope that he may do the same without the meaningless comments. Polly summed up the situation perfectly for me - it is many moon since we had so much to be thankful for. I, for one am thankful for small mercies and am no longer looking forward to games with trepidation but with optimism.* I can thank Pardew (and the players) for that. *But hey! Why should I? I'm not a die hard ;D ;D ;D
