Well I think that speaks for itself. I wouldnt vote for Clegg if he was the last politician on earth and quite frankly his cosying up in bed with the Tories has ruined any credibility that the Lib Dems might have had in my eyes

I reluctantly admit I voted Lib/Dem. Inept Labour, Sleazy Cameron seemed the only sensible choice.
How wrong I was, it little comfort to know millions believed like I did.
Never again Clegg! You and your party don't exist as far as I'm concerned, and if last nights result are anything to go by many people think the same.
Your position it untenable now, do the right and honourable thing for once and resign.

I don't know why they just don't be honest!!! I'd have far more respect for someone who said "right, we're in the clarts, there are going to be a massive loss of jobs, front line services will be decimated, and everyone is going to be paying a hell of a lot more for everything." What they do now is treat us like idiots, and try and weasel themselves out, if any news presenters ask them anything! They go round the houses and never answer a question straight, it drives me nuts!!

They go round the houses and never answer a question straight, it drives me nuts!! Its a tactic that Labour are trying out now tho, Ann. Milliband keeps saying- "we got thngs Wrong, we aplogise. We would do it differently next time." They should have been honest at the time. Bit late now, isn't it? I was watching a programme a couple of weeks back about private schools, and there were a number of boys talking about "going into politics" as a career choice. That kind of says it all really. Surely we should have people who go into politics to support the people and bring about change for the better, and not choose it as a good job option? The need to make a difference to society should be the first reason for choosing that particular job, and the good career you get out of it should be the bonus- not the other way around. Its like if you're a patient in hospital- do you want the Dr who is there to big up his career, or the one who is there coz he want to help people?

Afternoon Bansh Agree with you wholeheartedly.I used to be pretty niave when it came to politics and believed that there were people who became politicians to try and make a difference to other peoples lives but I'm a hell of alot more cynical now. When that expenses scandal broke and you saw what people were claiming, people from all the parties it made me realise that they are all the same-in it for what they can get. And then leaving an sailing into high paid jobs or being paid for speeches etc-dismal.

I also think it should be compulsory for potential MP's to have had "proper" jobs as well!! Not bankers, barristers and all the other high flying well paid careers. What about dust men, postmen, shop assistants, in other words all those who have had to manage on NMW or benefits. They would have more in common with the majority of people, than those in the "Millionairs' Cabinet" like it is now!!! What the hell do they know what it's like for people trying to juggle things with very little money??? I'm going to make tea now, I'm getting annoyed
