Just as a matter of interest magpie? Is black white or is white black? I'm sorry I didn't get your question. Was I expected to say something clever and witty? I'm sorry but I just know my football very well. And that's all there's to me. If it's a trick question to make me look silly then it's worked. If not then I'd like you to rephrase your question and I'll try my best to answer it. Still don't know what relevance it has to with the football discussion.

His best CWL ? Making 100% contradicting statements on consequtive days? See earlier in this thread That may be as good as it gets. Although strongly suspect it's a similar arrangement to that of when Chris Hughton was here. With The Fat Controllers spin doctors writing the stuff and the manager being landed with it. We had similar things happen before Pardew arrived. It was only near the end of his time that Hughton clammed up! Of course it was then Lambs Backside came out of the woodwork again to regale us all with his words of wisdom. CWL

Magpie. Since you are coming across as a Contrary Mary and disagreeing with whatever statement I make I was simply trying to find out if your views were genuine or if you were simply looking for a fight. Statements yesterday about selective reading bamboozled me whilst other at times simple constructive arguments have been ignored. Why not address some of the questions I have posed instead of resorting to accusations about how I make my decisions?

We were having a perfectly sane football discussion till you bought this up. I think our conversation have been very good natured and I have been enjoying it. No I'm not looking for a fight (how ridiculous that is!). And all of this simply because I had different opinions about the latest Carroll saga and now about Pardew. Well not all think alike. We can carry on the football discussion without getting personal.

Otherwise I think we are pretty much in agreement

OK so your arguments are genuine. That's all I wanted to know. I'll try not to get sidetracked again.

Pardew has a history of dishonesty which doesn't equate with the Hughton situation. Otherwise I think we are pretty much in agreement He could have a spotless reputation and I would still hold the belief everything coming out of NUFC at this moment in time is entirely at the whim of one man, Mike Ashley . Like the rest of his entourage Pardew just does as he is told. CWL

Hughton came into the job and had the wool pulled over his eyes IMO. Pardew came knowing exactly what his job would be. I mean he'd already seen Hughton sacked for most probably not towing the company line. Again IMO. Pardew is the Casino rat's mate and is fully aware of the game he is playing and with which cards. He is a mouthpiece like Kinnear but knows exactly what he is doing. I will never accept him. Rant over

To those who critize Pards give him credit for masterminding a 4-4 comeback. Surely if when things were going wrong were down to him, he should be credited for the success as well

Sorry mate - I put it down to the players And now you'll argue they are Hughton's players lol Fairsy I know both side of the arguments. But lets give him some credit Fans will always go on past reputation and slaughter him because he works under Ashley. What choice does he have. He's just trying his best.
