I remember most fans slaughtering Hughton at the beginning. I feel most of our fans don't give managers enough time to stay in the job and a chance to do their job. Give Pards a chance. Not his fault that he got the job. He's just trying his best. There will always be sections of any Clubs support who are vocal in their criticism of the Manager, including the likes of Fergie and Wenger. Pardew is trying his best, however given the circumstances of his appointment the sympathy vote is never going to be in his favour. In fact I would go so far to say that no matter who Ashley had made manager it would be the same. The guy just cannot resist messing about in the running of the Club even if he makes his manager look a complete chump. As for making Lambs Backside CEO or whatever his title is this week that just goes beyond crass stupidity IMO. CWL

I'll accept that Pardew is very probably doing his best. For me his best is not good enough. I posted earlier today that his credibility was sinking fast and most who commented at the time were in agreement. He wasn't a success in his earlier clubs and he has spouted a load of guff since he arrived here, IMHO. His results here are with Hughton's team.

You go on what others say, you judge him on his past, you criticize that his best wasn't good enough when he's been here only for so little time - Exactly my point. Fans not giving the manager time and only playing the blame game.
