What did you make of the comments made by Richard (I have pals in Football) Keys and Andy (Head the size of a Planet) Gray from Sly Sports which has caused such a fuss. uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/24012011/58/premier-league-sky-football-presenters-sexism-storm.htmlFound it hilarious myself, not about what they said, but that the official actually got the decision spot on. Wonder if it had anything to do with the fact Gray is ex Everton and Wolves player.  Nah! surely not!  CWL  |

Seb, when Ron Atkinson (ex Manager of Manure, Villa and WBA) another football pundit many moons ago did something similar (may have been racist comment or colour prejudice or both) he had to quit and hasn't been seen since on TV. What an idiotic pair!!!!! I see nothing wrong with a woman linesman or ref come to that! So long as they know the job it shouldn't matter what sex they are!!! Typical chauvinist remark and attitude that went out with the Ark!!  Personally, I don't like watching women's football, or Rugby and snooker come to that, but if that's what they want to do, then the fact that they are women shouldn't make any difference!! I hope the plonkers are made to report on tiddlywinks matches - and even that is too good for them!!

Yes I agree Magpie, awful pair I read somewhere that Gray had a "history" of that sort of thing - he should have been sacked a long time ago!!

Not being particularly interested in sports this went over my head a little until I started seeing newspaper articles about it and reports saying it was all a fuss about nothing.Apparently the poor guy was merely asking the woman to tuck his mike in etc. After watching the footage posted on here Im foaming There was no ambiguity in that-the horrible sod and that creature next to him thought they were Gods gifts and hassled a young woman who clearly didnt find it funny. As for the rest-my God  I dont mind banter and I dont mind flirting but that was just nasty  |

Shadow I agree with you. I initially thought the papers were making a big fuss over nothing but actually looking at those clips shows that they were quite clearly meant everything they said. It wasn't just harmless flirting. In any case they shouldn't even be flirting as that's their job. In any other job if that happened to a woman she could sue the men for sexual harassment. Glad these clips came out and exposed Gray and Keys.
I actually liked Andy Gray as a commentator but now I've lost all respect for him.
