FFS....nearly choked on my dog.......Go on BBC Football site under August Transfers.....picture of a guy on the right in a Roma shirt (Wind on the front)....Its Jonas...right? Has my Christmas come early ? Did Jonas give the pictures of AP with farmyard animals back to AP? Help me guys...who is it? The similarity to Jonas is 'So UnCanny' (sic)...but sadly not him LOL! In fact when you see the guy in the flesh he looks more like Johnny Depp. To put you out of your misery Canny it's Pablo Daniel Osvaldo who went to Southampton earlier this month from Roma for a club-record fee of around £15m. Lights Oot!

I'm now working on a new competition for next season based upon Bullsh*t Bingo. The thing is trying to come up with statements and soundbites not likely to be used by Alpha Papa is proving a challenge. Then I have the history distorting musings of Joe Feckinere to build into any format. One issue I don't have is incorporating a left field comment from out most benevolent owner, otherwise a bit like expecting a major signing today, no one would win except him! So while having a break for a quick coffee and bite to eat I sit down to read this... www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-boss-alan-pardew-pleased-5827897The piece above in the link from the Ronnie Gill by Lee Ryder has enough positive spin on it to possibly end up in orbit. In fact there are also now political scribes up and down the country crying in their beers with envy. Four points and a cup win plus three clean sheets it may well have been, but far from convincing regarding an indication it will remain that way or prove sustainable. After all that early days stuff works both ways. Get something from Villa in two weeks time, plus three points from Hull and defeat Leeds at Home then I may start to believe. Until that happens it just doesn't smell right. Lights Oot!

Hey WL, there's a game that's very popular over here at county fairs in the summer, in rural areas called "cow flop bingo". They line a field like a Bingo card and people "bet" on a certain square. Then they give a bull a laxative and let'em loose on the grid. If the bull takes a dump on yer square your are entitled to share in the pot of money. Anyway when I clicked your link and read the piece "cow flop bingo" came to mind.

I recall celebrated Toon Army member 'That's yer Lot' saying exactly the same to his Mrs last summer and warning her not to look back on the transfer window as it would only end in tears. Did she listen...nah! Lights Oot!

Here is the 'Official' NUFC bulls manure..... We are delighted to have brought Loic Remy to the club in this window and we believe he will form an exciting and effective partnership with Papiss Cisse. Joe has worked hard on numerous targets, particularly an additional offensive player. However some of the options that were available within our financial means were not as good as the players we already had and there is no point bringing in new players unless they can improve us and take us forward. We did the majority of our business in the January window, signing five excellent first team players. With the strong squad we have we should all approach the season in a positive, optimistic frame of mind. You better believe it....Lights Oot!
