FA Statement from their official site.... Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is suspended for ten matches after violent conduct charge.Luis Suarez has been suspended for a total of ten matches after an Independent Regulatory Commission today ruled on a charge of violent conduct.
A three-person Independent Regulatory Commission today upheld The FA’s claim that a suspension of three matches was clearly insufficient and the player will serve a further seven first-team matches in addition to the standard three. The suspension begins with immediate effect.
This follows an incident with Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic in Sunday’s fixture at Anfield.
The Liverpool forward had accepted a charge of violent conduct but had denied The FA’s claim that the standard three-match sanction was insufficient for the offence.
The incident was not seen by the match officials and has therefore been retrospectively reviewed.
Suarez has until midday on Friday 26th April to appeal the additional suspension, above the standard three matches.
Got to admit I do wonder about some of the bans dished out by the FA. Had Suarez just booted Ivanovic into the air under the nose of the officials out of frustration he stood a very good chance of getting away with it, with a yellow card. Even worse had it been seen and nothing done The FA would have been hamstrung by their own stupid rules. It appears in the eyes of those in charge at the FA it's a worse offence to bite someone on the field of play than it is to racially abuse a fellow player. On the Cisse front there appears to be mixed reports about his availability for Saturdays game. Last nights Ronnie Gill (Ask Canny if you don't know what this is) reported that the teams number 9 had visited a Paris-based specialist regarding a cracked rib that was apparently sustained during one of the Europa League Quarter Final ties against Benfica. (Interestingly enough it didn't say which one.) Having played 90 minutes against both the Mackems and West Brom since the injury, it remains to be seen whether Cisse will now be cleared to continue for the remaining four games of the season. Despite that he was pictured in an online photo set published by the club following Tuesday's training session. Another Tuesday article late on in The Mirror reckons the Club will get to know his condition during the next 48 hours so by my reckoning that will be tomorrow. One to watch I guess. Lights Oot!

Liverpudlians or Scousers come form Liverpool and have a reputation for dishonesty or theft. Stories abound of people not being to park their cars on streets of Liverpool suburbs without wheel etc. being removed. The expression Bin dippers can be linked to the habit of going through each others dustbins to see if there is anything worth salvaging.

They're existence revolves around sifting through bins for clothing, furniture and eventual mating partners. ;D ;D

It goes without saying that you know my thoughts on AP if we we win the pressure is off if we draw it is not a disaster but if we lose the pressure will be huge on him I just hope the players justify their own abilities on the pitch and put to bed the threat of losing our rightful place in this league.

Just for the sake of argument Capt. I would suggest that no-one , us included has a rightful place in this league. All league places have to be earned through the point system. If a team doesn't have enough points then rights don't come into it. Then we can ask is it the manager's fault or the players' fault. Some might even suggest Ashley is to blame
