Yes, indeed she is a good singer. Good singers can always pretend to sing badly but bad singers can't reverse the process.

The Admins and Mods on this forum being themselves members is the cruxes of the matter. They want the best for this forum just the same as any other member does. The EC/EG mods aren't members it's part of their job. I'm sure they have other responsibility at work besides the forum, and my impression was they regarded moderating the forum as a bit of a bind, and only did so when they've got nothing better to do. It is not an infringement of people freedom of speech if that person is offensive or abusive to others. I use the analogy of someone going into a pub and being offensive swearing and being abusive to others, he will be banned for the good of the pub and all the others within it. The same principle applies to a forum. I fully agree with this although I would add that I know alot of the members on here want this to work too and I know will take a dim view of people trying to disrupt after what happened to the EC. All of the mods on here are here because they want to be and they are all doing this in their own time without any other incentive other that to make this a good place to be-for all of us. All four of us enjoy being members also and being able to post and join in-its not a chore or a bind-we want to be and like being here too  |

D'you know what db, one tries to lift the tone of the forum, and it falls on deaf ears  One is at the end of ones tether with the rabble members on here!! Your boss sounds very civilised indeed  Standards must be maintained at all times!!!!! He's actually a Diamond he really is. On Thursdays he gets cooked breakfasts brought in, Cornish Cream Tea in the afternoon, again brought in. Fridays we leave at 12 if you want to go home or go shopping you can but he usually insists on us having a pub lunch, mind you sometimes his idea of a pub lunch is Galvins or Claridges. Don't know what I'll do if He ever retires, suppose I'll have to get a job like everyone else.  |

I think I've sussed the Invisible thing. A member is a guest until they log in. They are visible as members whilst browsing and return to guest status when in PM or writing mode. A staff member (mod or admin) however, transcends into invisible mode. I THINK. Now the smart ar*es will come and tell me that they either knew this already or that I am completely wrong. ;D ;D ;D I can live with that. |
