According to Goal.com Newcastle United have slapped a £12 million price tag on Jose Enrique should AC Milan want the player come the summer. Oh! well I guess what with Manure and others looking at him recently this comes as no surprise.  CWL  |

Ashley with the Carroll sale basially sent the message "IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT WE SELL" if the player wants to go as well.
Enrique doesn't want to leave and his comments were taken out of context by the controvery seeking media. Jose said he was waiting for us to secure PL status for next season before signing on. Very understandable and reasonable I thought and honest from the Bull. I hope we finish in the Europa places and then we won't lose any of our players.

Not convinced whether the Player wanting to stay or go has anything to do with NUFC transfer policy under The Fat Controller  . Also given the kind of Clubs interested in Jose I would suggest not a lot of thought would be required in terms of the lad accepting a move. Also agree with Natt that £12m is a bargain for The Bull. CWL. |
