it's just the same as if you dont tax your car you sign a SORN to say you wont be using it on the road. But whats the point of it if some people are still driving illegally while they have their vehicle on sorn because they have not taxed it whats to stop them driving under sorn because they have no insurance . The police already have the know how to trace none insured drivers so why this ...me thinks its a small piece of a jigsaw or they are taking the scenic route to somthing else

Unless they will have something like that ANP ARNP sod it, that thing that recognises number plates!! They might get it hooked up, so that it recognises cars that have SORN's on them, who are driving round. "WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY......................"!!!

Yep, ANPR is a standard piece of kit now, not sure if it's just the traffic patrol cars that are all fitted with it or if the general pc-plod cars have it now too.
