Spot on Seb in every respect.
It doesn't matter if opposition players do provoke him, he has to learn that there is no room for retaliation in the modern game.
No point in appeal - FA will have made their decision already and there is no reason to extend a ban with an extra game either

I think the FA will just deny the appeal should The Toon send one. Had it not been for the Ballotelli incident I don't think they would have seen much in it. Cabaye was ran over by El-Abd but that doesn't justify him kicking out like that whether he was meant to hit or not. This isn't the first or second time Cabaye decides to let his opponents taste his studs. There have been a couple of occations where another player has just cleared the ball or passed it on only for Cabaye to appear a moment later with his leg straight and his foot out in knee height. Considering these cowardly acts I'd say that he has just gotten what was coming for him. Cabay is a brilliant player with great talent and quality and that might make him a target by other players, but that still won't dismiss that he also has an ugly and cowardly side to his game too that will always get him into trouble. Good post duly rewarded! ;D ATB

Cabaye has never played in the Premiership before this season. He has gained a reputation as someone who can influence a game therefore he is a sitting duck for the tough guys kicking him to bits. No manager can protect the player once the whistle blows, if you cannot see that more fool you. ATB I bed to differ. A manager can protect his player once the whistle blows by chaning personnel and formation to protect his players. For instance tell Cabaye to drop in between the lines and be mobile rather than to sit behind with Tiote / Guthrie and defend and be an easy target for the ruffnecks. AP has no clue. He only knows one way of playing errr defending! WUM alert WUM alert.......swim on by.....no logic in argument.................

I can just state my opinion and hope my fellow posters show some respect and bring their honest opinions to the table without trying to call me a WUM. For the best part CaptM has done that and to some extent CWL and fairscup. But you canny seem to be convinced I am here to wind people up. I can't stop you thinking what you feel. So good luck man
