Anyone seen the wonderful display? Went up to Northumberland earlier in the week we were both amazed.
One of the greatest sights that I've ever saw was the Milkway when I was in the Philippines, lots of shooting stars. A real miracle of natures.

Never seen the Northern Lights but have seen the Green Flash, a phenomena that occurs (when conditions are right) as the sun sinks below the sea horizon.

"In clubs, by your fireside, in pub and in bar, the sign of good ale is the famous blue star! For complete satisfaction, Newcastle Brown Ale!" Can anyone remember this advert sung to the tune of Cushy Butterfield?

Nope But I do remember seeing the blue star all around the town.Theres a garage in Byker has an old van up on the back of a trailer-I pass it when I pick up Mr Shads-its an old Newcastle and Scottish Brewery van and it always reminds me of them.
