a great signing lets wait and see, good players dont always come good when they change clubs so lets hope he settles in quickly and gets the job done, as for saying Liverpool were stung with Andy Carroll i dont think so, ok so he has not been banging in the goals but he still works hard and assists and still has time to come good, look at Fernando Torres and the ammount Chelsea paid, he looked a complete waste of money but has started to look a little like his old self, people are too quick to write off good players when they hit a bad spell and more often are proved wrong to do so.

Skint I'm not writing Carroll off entirely, but getting £35m for him was an absolute sting. As for Torres the only thing he has in common with Andy is a big fee to live up to. On the football side IMO they are miles apart. CWL  |
