The QPR game might have got us 3 points but the performance was nothing short of boring and pathetic. APee’s tactics of defending and seeing out the game effectively killing it and putting me to sleep were disgraceful! I’m sure even 10 years back this performance would have been boo’d at the full time whistle! Gone are the days of the entertainers. What is even shocking is that most NUFC fans are happy with boring dull 1-0 victories and long ball shite as long as we get 3 points! Not me! I’d rather attack and concede goals and try to win matches even if it means we lose more points that we gain. I feel like we’re losing our culture and pride with every passing day with knuckle-head fans joining in and an owner that is nothing short of a money grabbing b****rd. Sorry rant over. But something better be done soon otherwise Ashley and his puppets will run our great club into the ground!

We are a defensive team. No wonder as Pardew spends 4 days on defence and Carver spends a day with the boys on attack. Bet it was the other way around in the Keegan days!...

In the space of four days and one game Magpie you have gone from praising APee to criticising him. Yes the QPR game was poor, just as the Manure victory was superb yet both achieved the same return of three points. It's what the manager and side does over a whole season which they should be judged upon not a single game. So far I believe I have watched more attacking football from The Toon than last season although it has been built upon a solid defensive foundation. Last season we could have lost or drawn against QPR and it still would have been poor. Taking the three points from this game was a huge bonus and the performance can always be improved. I get more frustrated when supporters go on about a brilliant performance that actually results in gaining nothing. CWL

CWL For years and years our defence has been poor, a sound defence is the bedrock in my book towards the makings of a good football team. Re. The QPR game it was poor, I find it hard to understand how Best could score a goal like he did yet be so annonymous. ATB

It is in somes' nature to go against the grain. Whilst most of us were criticizing Pardue. Magpie was praising him to the hilt and demanding that we give him a chance. NOW after all, yes all of us who criticized the man earlier have admitted that the same Pardue is doing a decent job with the options available to him, our feathered friend decides to make a 180 degree turn.
Credit where credit is due I say. If the game put you to sleep Magpie, more's the pity you woke up again.

The QPR match was a bit boring TBH, but 3 points is 3 points!! It was boring beyond belief! And while in the short term 3 points seems good, this kind of boring football will ruin the Newcastle United legacy of old.
