I love that casual kick he gives the body when it slides along to him! ;D However a good, effective and "hard hitting" advert! The tune "Nelly the Elephant" is also good for timing your hand pumps!

Having done CPR, I was greatly indebted to the 999 operator. He told me everything to do, and shouted out the pumping rhythm until the paramedics arrive. Sadly it didn't work, but I was given the best chance of a successful resuscitation. It's really strange giving CPR, there not reaction. Willing something to happen but nothing happening, very distressing. Although in this case it didn't work, countless lives have been save. An advert to raise awareness can only be useful, and could save may lives. More of the same required.

I learnt CPR during Offshore Survival Training and it has changed in its methods. Now they teach 3 Breaths of Air then 15 Chest Compressions.
Never had to administer it and hope I never will.

Ive also had training in CPR but it was some time back now and I thought the article very good-if it gives people the confidence to try and help save a life then that can only be a good thing.
My son was kept alive by some-one doing this when I was in no condition to do it-he had never had training but had picked it up from the TV-so its a fantastic message and advice to get across.
