Nice to see you guys have a Forum up and running. Not sure how much time I will have to contribute, hopefully often. Although I suspect the 'allowed' contributers will be of a certain bias, and debate will be stiffled.
Having browsed through a few threads it looks like someone has been masquerading as old Rummy. Well I certainly don't hold the copywrite to that 'handle' and indeed find it flattering that someone wants to be me. But need to made you all aware that, if that poster insulted anyone then it was not the Four Rums you know from the Chron Forum. It aint my style. I don't do personnal insults unless insulted first, after which I believe in 'an Eye for an Eye'.
Hope you all had a good Christmas and look forward to signing in from time to time.

A very interesting first post if I may say so.Youve obviously taken the year away from us to improve your spelling and grammar dramatically as well as your attitude-I dont believe Ive ever heard you use the word "aint" in four years of conversation both on and off the Chronicle forum let alone see you use punctuation.And an "eye for an eye "-well thats new to me too-you didnt used to have that attitude my good friend-and you were my good friend. I have spent nearly a year looking for the Chronicle four-rums my friend-because he did something amazingly special that no-one apart from me would know about and I had many a private conversation with him-you didnt remember his name for me did you-but the real rums would have  I look forward to reading your posts for as long as you care to continue the illusion but BE AWARE your time is very limited on here-you are here for amusement value only |

If you read through my Chronicle posts I think you will find my grammar and spelling was quite good. Always has been. Yours is getting worse. (No space after Full Stops and Hyphens...tut tut).
Although I understand your doubts that this is indeed the Four Rums from those days, (Forums attract many Crackpots), I can assure you I am he.
Oh and Shadski was my name for you. Hope you and yours are well.
And the special thing! I suspect you are refering to a certain 'cause/appeal'?.

i dont give a rats ass if someone comes on pretending to be someone else, i think it's quite sad for them that this is the only enjoyment left for them, but if that's what floats their boat let them get on with it they always get found out in the end, if this is the Four Rums from the chronnie site then welcome but if after a while he turns out to be an imposter i dont think it will bother anyone it's something we should all now be used to.

It is indeed me from the Chronicle and I would suggest I passed Shadski's test. But she hasn't responded which suggests she's conferring with the other Femme-a-Nazis.
Annie, no cracked record just strong views on the direction this great country has taken, we're witnessing the Suicide of a Nation and stand by and do nothing.

I didnt respond because Ive been Mams Taxi today ferrying my kids to various friends houses and taking advantage of the quiet house to catch up on domestics Now as to my way of writing-hey you'll remember all the problems I had-Im sure the paragraphs and capitol letters will ring some bells You were the one that taught me how to type and didnt we laugh about it Especially because you rarely used them yourself  Now the fourrums I remember had a good relationship with Ann and he certainly got on well with Skint and Bansh amongst others even if we disagreed-you didnt think to say hello after a year when we've been looking for you-Im surprised The one thing that gave you away was your reference to an appeal-see the fourrums I know would have hit the roof at any mention of anything he chose to contribute being put on a public forum-you surely remember what you said to me regarding this. I am seeing nothing in your posts that even comes close to the person I knew=I disagreed massively with four-rums on so many things but he was one of my favorite posters and we were friends-I found him a warm and good hearted person-Im getting nothing off you. Im also interested in how you found us-Ive been looking for Four-rums for a long time-I just dont think Ive found him yet |

I can't remember teaching you how to type. But I do remember now that I always posted in lower case.
I didn't mention a contribution, only the appeal, as your first post suggested you wanted proof.
It's flattering you have been looking for me, can't believe Bansh has been, and if you say Foggy.... er sorry Milkhope was I'd be blown away.
And I do understand your doubts.
I'd take you for a Blast on my Harley Davidson to prove it, but I hear you Bum's still too big!.

I don't know if you are 4 rums or not, don't care only time will tell.
All I can say is anyone admitting they are to being him/her I must conclude is either brave, stupid or both.
Although rums is far more acceptable than a BNP troll.

I do remember you Patsie. For a while I thought you were one of Totem's creations. Hope you are well.
Milkhope, the person I have probably least time for. Always throwing insults and then when they are returned, ran to the Mods like a spoilt child. Not my cup of tea at all. But I wouldn't have posted this if he hadn't thrown the first insult. But he just can't help himself.
Annie, yes we got on well I think. I even called her (affectionately) a Welsh Windbag and she took it as it was intended, as a laugh. Trying to think of the name of her cat.
Oh and Annie you mention racist tosh and me being off. Do you accept realist tosh?. I always remember you taking the 'multicultural' stance but when asked if when we have a non white majority would this benefit Britain, your reply would be "well I'll not be alive then anyway". Always made me laugh that you know it wouldn't but are scarred to admit it outright. Mind you that applies to most on the Chron HYS.
The fact is I am not racist at all, but a realist.
What else, oh Banshee. I wouldn't regard her as a friend as such, but I certainly have nothing against her. But if anything she typifies the viewpoint of the loony left. The type who professes to be 'Tolerant' but only if you agree with them, if not they won't 'Tolerate' you. The type who tried to silence Nick Griffin in the name of free speech. A Billy Braggette who did as he did, preach of how great multiculturalism is in areas of the UK, but left one to live in a 'white' area.
Shadski the PM thing. As you know I don't really do PM's but will respond out of politeness if I receive one.

When I said racist tosh, I meant the rubbish we used to get on the Chron, everyone is entitled to a viewoint, and it makes for interesting debates, no one will get "penalised" (not the right word but yswim) for having a different opinion. But if it comes to personal insults - from anyone - then that's a no no. Must say though Rums, you didn't used to personally insult people - and I'm still a Welsh windbag
Shads and myself are admin and Roma and CWL are mods, I think the main difference is Admin can do a bit more than mods (I think!!!) And we discuss together before any action is taken - very democratic we are! We do try and tell members what is going on and why decisions are taken, we remember only too well the frustrations of members on the Chron, when they didn't tell us why decisions were taken!
Have a look around, we've got the rules posted somewhere, and there is also a section for members suggestions, although those ending in "off" directed at mods will be ignored! ;D
