Happy Christmas and New Year

Hope you all had a good Christmas-have to admit its taken me days to recover from the pre-Christmas dash.I dont think Ive slept so much in weeks as I have done from Christmas day onwards-was flat out at about seven on the day itself followed by a couple of nights dozing off early on the settee.We did have a lovely day tho-kids were in great form altho they have gotten into the habit of staying awake into the wee hours and sleeping through the day

But it has all in all been a nice peaceful last few days-stark contrast to the chaos before with over-excited kids battling constantly.

We have nothing planned for New Years Eve as Mr Shads is working both then and New Years day-the kids and I will spend the day itself with my familly and so wonderful to see my mother back to reasonably good health after all the scares we had late last year/early this Year.

I know this time of year will be very difficult for Junes Family and friends and we are thinking of them also xxxx

Happy new year to all. Had a good Christmas, while sorting out some family issues. Life doesnt just stop at Christmas. But good to take some respite.
Took the couple of days off writing my job application as we all have to re-apply for our jobs this month. May or may not be in a job end of this month. Trying not to think about it as I go aout my job tomorrow.

Happy New year to you all, the next twelve months hopefully a little less dramatic and eventful than the last.
Apart from a certain person getting married on 8th of September!!!
