Louisiana health regulators warned residents Tuesday about the dangers of using neti pots improperly. A neti pot, which looks like a genie's lamp, is commonly used to irrigate sinuses. The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals issued its warning following a second death this year caused by Naegleria fowleri, the so-called brain-eating amoeba. A 51-year-old DeSoto Parish woman died after using tap water in a neti pot to irrigate her sinuses and became infected by the deadly amoeba, which entered the body through her nose. In June, a 20-year-old St. Bernard Parish man died under the same circumstances. This is disturbing to me as Shola has been eating my brain for over 10 years and Sami has just started........ I always also thought I was safe in the netty , but you are safe nowhere these days...........But anyway....why would you use the water from the netty to irrigate your sinuses Please help....I am old and confused( by the way I have used a neti pot really)

Okay, Broon. So for anyone who is still not sure keep your eyes peeled at the meet for a grey haired pony tailed dwarf in a santa suit drinking ace lager from six different pint glasses. Sorted! CWL

Leazes we haven't heard from Canny since he set off for Home............ Could be stuck somewhere in the Bedlington Triangle and never actually reached the haven of Eshingtun............ Checked local news and no reports of small rotund fellow possibly now dressed in red and white outfit, last seen heading for Northumberland, but still time I guess. CWL

Her comment was....... they never win when you go there....she could be right. Thanks for the concern and support,I shall wear it always. BTW.....Leazes....drove through Bedlington on the way home.
