Brilliantly coloured socks are always welcome but they have to be good colours not drab grey or brown! ;D

Best present i ever got was a card saying: " you once told me that good things don't happen to me. You happened to me and that's what i thought". My heart stopped and then raced round the block!

We were in Royal Quays yesterday and it was dead!!!! I mean really dead! Couldn't believe it, so close to Xmas So this economy is obviously having an effect on people. Some good bargains to had though on things like Xmas paper and gift bags. I think the rest of the place is just expensive though - but there is a Subway there, so all was not lost!!
Mind, town wasn't busy on Tuesday either, apart from Primark I got lost in Fenwicks, couldn't find the way out!!!!! I had visions of wandering around pathetically over the holidays!!!! Shows how often I go there, it's a bloody nightmare, they must do it deliberately to make you look around!! I was like a thing possessed looking for the escalator! Hampton Court 's got nowt on that place!!!

i was at the Metro Centre this morning there was a few long ques of cars but they must have been heading for ASDA as the metro was no busier than a normal Tuesday, a few years ago i said ill never go to the Metro near christmas again because it was jam packed but i thought id chance it and was surprised at how empty it was, either everyone is having a lie in or they are not spending, one thing i have noticed a lot of shops have hiked the prices up ( the robbing b*****s ) and the same as every year after christmas they will put them back to what they were and say they are on sale.

Well-hit the Team Valley at 9AM and the Metrocentre at 3PM and have to say I had no problems whatsoever-traffic was ok and no problems parking.Shops were not busy but no big queues and it was way less stressful than I thought it would be.Only hassle was dropping into Sainsburies on the Team Valley to get a few items on the way back and having our card declined But have to say the staff were absolutely brilliant-the lady on the self service section couldnt have been more helpful and many thanks to customer services for letting us use their phone to sort things out-bank had blocked it cos we used it so much in one day-a security precaution but quickly remedied-so got home about 8pm-tired but not stressed

been to the Metro Centre today it was just like a normal friday when the kids are off school, a lot of the shops have sale signs up but the prices just seemed the same.
