Ashley may be the lowest of the low but in my book the so called fans who think Ashley`s plan is good one are even lower than that. No-one in my view has the right to change the name of the ground, it is the home of NUFC end of story. The team, the strip, and the ground are inextricably linked. Owners come and go, Managers come and go, players come and go, the fans come and go, but the things that really matter will remain, St James park will still be there when Ashley is dead and gone as the home of Newcastle United the team that graces its hallowed turf.Ashley to ashes, dust to dust.  ;D    ATB |

Never been a big footie fan but to put my twopennyworth in-frankly shocked big time.Biggest shock is how easily some of the fans seem to have taken it.I expected mass protests and uproar-not hearing that much tho |

TBH shads, I think they know it's a waste of time!  Fatso will do what he wants regardless of what anyone thinks  All he cares about is money, and he'll do anything to get it, he doesn't give a stuff about the fans, tradition or history of the club. I could understand it more if he was a new, struggling businessman and needed the cash, but he's just a greedy multi millionaire, much wants bloody more!!!

Gonna hold my prediction fer a day or two, not sure yet. But I will predict if Tiote don't play it's on orders from the Fatman. We've been forewarned if clubs want to buy we're selling. You can't sell damaged goods so why risk a big payday if he gets hurt? And we all know Mike is "fearless" on brokering deals and if there's one thing he likes more than pies it's money. The shame of this is Cabaye and Tiote have been brilliant together this year and big reason we are up in the table. There is always a dark cloud to our silver lining. Methinks it's time he rears his ugly heed. Im in total agreement Canny, how on earth will anything successful ever be built with Ashley around? It is clear without a shadow of doubt that the reason we buy players now is to sell them at a fat profit. ATB |

I think all 4 of you should turn up at the meet on the 21.12. PS and I agree with those who say "Don't take anything from Mashley at face value". The fact that we have Tiote and Cabaye "on loan" is nothing less than a disgrace. |
