Through the doom and gloom of my current personna, I am seeing something.. dont know what it is, dont recognise it , its been so long, havent seen it consistently for many many years.....I think its a team with no stars ,proud of the shirt theyre wearing, fighting for each other, testy and getting stuck in...........Now if I really was a D&G merchant then I'd say...we havent really played anybody yet , and todays opponents were terrible....etc etc etc...
But I honestly cant remember the last time I was embarrased to be a Toon supporter because of our past pitiful displays.....
Still think November will be the real test (Both Mank clubs).....but at the moment I'm overwhelmed at being underwhelmed......HTL
