as i had a few too many Sega Megadrives if you call 7 too may i decided to sell a few on Ebay, so i sold 2 boxed ones and a few ps1 game that i had duplicates of and a nintedo 64 as i had 2 of them, as i sold some stuff i decided to buy some so ive bought an Amiga cd32, a Panasonic 3do and a commodore 64 with disk drive and lots of disks, they go quite nice with my Megadrive and mega cd, sega master system, Sega Dreamcast, atari 2600 and 7800, playstation 1,2 and 3 xbox 360 and my other nintendo 64 and not forgetting my Amiga 1200 with a blizzard board anf cf hard drive fitted, my lass thinks i have too many consoles so have had to put the thoughts of an Amstad pcp464 and Sega Saturn on hold, i love old consoles i think the games were much better and a lot more enjoyable, at the moment im trying to set them all up on a nice shelving unit, spaghetti junction does not have a look in compared to the wires i have but they keep me happy in my limited spare time, anyone else into retro gaming.

ive lately found out how to make cue files, these enable me to download and successfully burn those old sega cds or 3do games that have audio files with them, the cue file puts them in the correct order to do this which is something i found hard to do in the past, im staying legal though by only using proper recognised retro sites to get the game ISOs from.

That's awesome skint! It's easy to get struck with nostalgia when you play games.

one thing ive noticed over the last few years is that prices in retro computers and consoles can change at different periods thoughout the year things that were going for high prices can suddenly be going for next to nothing, next to nothing are my favourite prices , ive yet to work out why as there seems to be no pattern to it, it's quite amazing what some people will buy for every person who sees something as a bundle of old computer junk you will get a 100 people who want it, over the last year ive had some amazing old things a Dragon 32 a BBC issue 7 computer a ZX Spectrum 48k the old rubber button type and an immaculate old Atari 520st, im looking forward to next year and hope to come across a few old commodores c16s and vic 20s as they seem to be quite collectable all year round, well im off now to play Alex the kid on a Master system.
