Here is a list of names of past Chairmen and current people involved in the management of NUFC. As you can see from the thread title this is your opportunity to pass judgement on their time in charge. I have not attempted to put everyone down on the list just the key men since I actually started going to SJP. I also appreciate that not everyone will have an opinion on some of them as they have no personal experience or recollection of that period. Mind you it was only towards the late 60's I really started to form an opinion about Westwood! Despite that I have given each voter the option of making two selections. The poll is open for 30 days. The Renegades forum speaks again...................... CWL

Being as I can only vote on those down to 1997 I found it rather obvious who I'd vote for.

Went for the present duo - to be honest I was never particularly interested in the boardroom politics or the administration's antics of previous regimes. Internet forums such as this one mean that information and opinions are more accessible. I honestly can't remember having discussions in pubs on anything other than tactics, new signings or opponents teams and the like. SJH and Freddie or any of the others may well have been worse but it was before my blood pressure went through the roof. Will never have voted for Mckeag - he got me off a dangerous driving charge way back in 1970

Even with such a small perecentage of people having voted it's already looking damning for the current Owner and his side kick................... The McKeag years were pretty bad for me, but you could almost feel some sympathy for him as he was left dealing with a massive headache without the means to rectify it. Hence then, as even now with a lot of Clubs, the best players had to be sold to keep the thing afloat...................... That said I am reaching the conclusion that although Mikey and Co. have the financial means to take the Club forward they lack the actual Football nous to do it. So for me it's not about a lack of ambition as many supporters believe. Lets face it you wouldn't accuse Mikey of that in his other business dealings, the guy is completely ruthless. No! put quite simply this regime are totally inept in all things Football related. Be it choosing a Manager, dealing with players, transfers, contracts, supporters, communications, PR and any of the other essentiall activities involved in running the Club in a Professional manner. Which really begs the question................... Why? Oh! Why? did we get landed with this complete bunch of Tossers buying our beloved Football Club! Sir John Hall has a lot to answer for in that respect.... but I guess as far as he was concerned the money he received counted a whole lot more! As for Freddie well just think about McKeag.................it could have gone the same way, heading towards going completely bust! The thing is we will never know yet supporters still have to come to terms with what Mikey does next.................... That's if you still believe anything that is said or written by this regime................ as the action taken often proves to be the complete opposite to the words spoken or printed. CWL
